  • i know exactly what cristiano ronaldo does...he first cuts the foot part of the manchester united or portugal sock and than he puts a white nike tube, then he puts on the manchester or portugal sock with out the foot part of the sock, than he tapes the end of the uniform sock to the tube sock and than he puts on the shinguards....easy as that:D if you can see a pics where he is injured against the manchester united vs lille game in france you can see in apicture exactly how he has it


  • what i used to do to get the look of c ronaldo's sock was.. id get a pair of white shin pad sleeves and just slip them over my sock and just put sum tape around the top to hold them up.. looked the exact same no socks had to be cut and the sleeves are very thin so they don't bother you at all.. helps with blisters to .. i don't do it any more.. it was just a fad i tried a year or two ago lol

  • Yea u can see in the pic where the white sock ends and then the tape starts, as the tape it tighter than the sock so the sock puffs out a little bit first....I've taken to wearing these Under Armour forearm sleeves as socks and will post up a pic for mockery soon.....

  • Yes, i'm sort of worried now. Me-drunk + Internet = bad, bad, bad. And this wouldn't be the first time. I once posted a series of pictures of my friends and I running around town doing some not-so-legal stuff (ie. vandalizing things, pissing on buildings, etc) on Facebook. Let's just say the wrong people saw those pictures ;). Case, Nipples is a mod over at SP. He made this video showing how to do the two-sock-tape-trick. It was actually quite helpful, but i'm pretty sure he said he deleted it, so the only chance of us seeing it again is if someone has it stored on their computer.

  • well it's time I got ripped on for wearing pads ("girls wear pads, then only once a month Case" etc etc) but here's a decent pic illustrating my UA sleeves as socks, as I have the same things on my arms as well (it was on astro so had to protect from maaaad burns)...

    Anyways, as the pic shows, apart from my amazing ability to color co-ordinate (apols for the yellow mouthpiece, I lost my pride n joy one the night b4 this game), Im wearing white socks with a red top (tucked under my sexy lycra bottoms, gotta love the kinky uniform for the sport!), which are uber comfy and stay up perfectly, however a few weeks after I got em our coach decided to break from the tradition of the club and make us wear black socks. I didn't wanna change my superstitious undefeated socks, so put the black sleeves over them. My ankles are taped upto just below them, I don't tape em together, just for preference...

  • The thing with SP is that they get alot more new users - or at least it seems like they do - than BS. So that means there's alot of people who don't know much.
